This “generous pour” was during a beautiful day of wine tastings in and around Queenstown, New Zealand. We decided to take a tour of the local wineries and signed up through the hotel. My husband and I were the youngest by at least 30 years and definitely knew the least about wine!!! We had a blast though and learned a lot in just four short hours. A New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc is usually very dry, very crisp and you can often smell or taste fresh cut grass. It is a perfect Summer wine to pair with seafood, a Summer bbq or just a glass on the patio. Kim Crawford is most likely at your local wine shop and is a great one to try and see if this is “your” kinda wine. Cheers!
