Chicago Ideas Week meets Mott St.

Had the pleasure of eating at Mott St. last night with my friends from Chicago Ideas Week.  From the Aperol Granita Slushies to the charred brussel sprouts to the grilled salmon, dinner was just delicious.  Chef Edward Kim of Ruxbin fame came to the table to talk about what inspires him and why he does what he does: love, passion and great hospitality.  We also heard from several of the bar managers and sommeliers and I will tell you each person brought something unique and passionate to the table in the form of themselves.  I had no idea what a centrifuge was and that it is used in the making of cocktails!  Well, it is at Mott St!  Fun, quirky, and devoted to their craft, the staff at Ruxbin made the dinner an experience not just a meal. And I will be back!!  Thank you.
