My newest obsession is the BREAKFAST FLATBREAD served on Pierrot Gourmet’s brunch menu. I used to walk by this cafe next to the Peninsula hotel every day on my way home from a five mile run and think to myself God that food looks great!! But I had calories to burn and a yogurt and granola waiting for me at home. So glad I stopped two weeks ago to try this delicious flatbread made with gruyere cheese, bacon, scrambled eggs, sundried tomatoes, and caramelized onions….it is spectacular. They also have chocolate croissants and almond croissants that are the closest thing to Paris I’ve had in Chicago. Just a delicious spot….you are welcome 🙂
