To Love and Lucy

Hello friends!

This will be the first Thanksgiving I’ve had off since 1997. 1997! A long time right? I’ve always been a person who is “all in” and I chose a career where I had to work odd hours and holidays. I did it gladly with a smile on my face. It’s what I signed up for. But I’ll tell you I am really really looking forward to this holiday off.  Lately, I have been spending my time doing a LOT of cooking. I shared a Sweet Potato Gratin recipe from P. Allen Smith here and a brussel sprouts recipe that is so delicious. I’ve also been writing about my obsession over cranberries since I’m from the home of Ocean Spray.

And I am so grateful for all those Thanksgivings I spent in a studio because they lead me to this moment of supreme gratitude for the life and love I have. I am thankful for you…for reading this blog. For your kindness. For your loyalty. For your friendship above all else…
